Wallpaper of my dog.
It’s been a while since i posted an artwork. So… here’s another one of my work… i made this after reading a few books about sketching then started applying the things that i learned. I don’t know what to call this but… hmmm… She’s just an imaginary figure.
The second one is still from the same sketch but i just wanted to experiment with my favorite color.
Darth Vader.
The hard part about this artwork is the complexity of the shadows. Once you get the hang of it everything will be easy.
Difficulty Level: Hard
Materials Used:
1. Wacom Tablet
2. Photoshop
3. A photo of Darth Vader for reference
Step 1
Sketch the pose and basic shape of the character using the paintbrush tool with a pencil type tip.

Step 2
Continue Sketching.

Step 3
I kinda messed up my layering here. I usually have different layers for the pencil, ink, and colors so erasing will be easier. Anyway, ink it and ad shadows.
Also if you noticed my scribbles at the side, this is another separate layer where i test my brushes if it’s the right color and size.

Step 4
Add shadows and detail. Don’t forget to create another layer for this and put it under the ‘inked’ layer of your work.

Step 5
Clean up. I erased the scribbles at the background and pencil guides. Done!

Here’s another anime character from Samurai X. He’s Kenshin.
Difficulty Level: Medium
Materials Used:
1. Wacom Tablet
2. Photoshop
Step 1
Draw the character using the brush tool with a pencil type brush.

Step 2
Ink the details with a darker brush.

Step 3
Add shadows. You can actually stop here and add a little more details if you want.

Step 4
Color. I used a red orange medium brush with the hardiness of 100%, opacity at 30%, Flow at 35 for the lighter parts of the hair. Then i used the same red brush but now with a higher opacity and a higher flow percentage for the darker red orange.

Step 5
Color the Shirt. Same process as Step 4 but with a pinkish color.

Step 6
Color the pants with a bluish gray paint brush. Same process as Step 4 and 5.

Step 7
Color the skin.

Step 8
Color the sword, socks and slippers. Done.
