Let’s do something simple.  Here’s Hiei an anime character from a series called Yuyu Hakusho.

The process is very simple. Just use your paintbrush tool and control the opacity and flow of the paintbrush.

Difficulty Level: Easy

Materials Used:

1. Wacom Tablet

2. Adobe Photoshop or any paint program will do. (i’ll be doing the instructions in photoshop)

Step 1

I didn’t use a real pencil and paper on this one. I drew this straight using my tablet. the character is pretty straight forward.

Start with a black number 3 brush or any thin brush that resembles a pencil with 100% hardiness with 50% on the opacity and 50% flow.

you’re first draft doesn’t have to be perfect we can fix those imperfections later.

Step 2

Darken the edges. or Ink it…

Step 3

Shade/Color. Darken the parts where the shadows must be. You can color this if you want. Done.
